RRI.CO.ID, Surabaya - Indonesian marketing agency Increa Media is stepping onto the global stage, leveraging digital comics on Webtoon to tap into rising demand from overseas clients and strategic collaborations across East Asia. CEO Nanda Rizky Amelia announced the expansion during a media gathering in Surabaya, East Java, highlighting the agency’s designation as the official Webtoon partner for East Asia.

“We are the only official East Asia partner for Webtoon. Brands from the region that want to enter Indonesia are usually directed to us,” Nanda explained, as quoted by Antara, adding that the appointment covers Taiwan, the Philippines, and Indonesia, opening opportunities for cross-border content distribution and brand cooperation.

Founded in 2019 with a focus on the domestic market, Increa is now following its clients’ international growth. Nanda cited examples of brands that have expanded to Oman and South Korea, requiring tailored media strategies to fit local market characteristics. “We follow our clients’ distribution. When their products reach overseas, they ask which media is dominant there, and we adapt accordingly,” she said.

Beyond international expansion, Nanda pointed to broader industry trends in 2026: digitalization, AI-driven personalization, and direct engagement with loyal customers through brand activation. She noted a significant budget shift from conventional advertising to digital platforms, with nearly 40 percent redirected toward more interactive campaigns.

At the same time, offline events are regaining strength post-pandemic, fueled by public enthusiasm for concerts and face-to-face gatherings. Southeast Asia’s fandom market, she added, remains large and loyal, making community engagement a powerful tool for brands targeting younger audiences.

Increa continues to prioritize client satisfaction by aligning strategies with key performance indicators (KPIs) across both domestic and international markets. “This momentum is our opportunity to go international, as client demand is no longer limited to Indonesia,” Nanda affirmed. ***
