BAZNAS Indonesia Distributes 2,310 Iftar Meals for Palestinians at Al-Aqsa

RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta: The Indonesian National Alms Agency (BAZNAS RI) distributed 2,310 iftar meal portions for Palestinians at the Al-Aqsa Mosque area during Ramadan 1447 H, Monday, 23 February 2026. The assistance represents donations from the Indonesian people.
It reflects Indonesia’s continued humanitarian support for Palestine. Chairman of BAZNAS RI Prof. Dr. KH. Noor Achmad, MA., expressed gratitude that the public mandate was delivered properly.
He said the meals reached residents and worshippers around the Al-Aqsa Mosque area. The menu was adjusted to local needs and consumption habits.
He further explained that the distribution aims to support food needs during Ramadan. He noted that humanitarian conditions in several Palestinian areas remain unstable.
Limited food access has increased dependence on international assistance. He delivered the statement through a written release in Jakarta.
He emphasized that the aid came directly from Indonesian community donations. He highlighted that Ramadan is a sensitive period for vulnerable communities.
“Alhamdulillah, the mandate of the Indonesian people distributed through BAZNAS in the form of 2,310 iftar meal portions has arrived and been distributed to residents and worshippers around the Al-Aqsa Mosque area. The meals have been adjusted to the needs and consumption habits of the local community,” Noor Achmad conveyed.
He further conveyed hope that the assistance would ease hardships during Ramadan. He reaffirmed that BAZNAS represents the Indonesian people in global humanitarian missions. He stressed that solidarity must continue amid difficult conditions.
