PT Pindad and Saudi Arabian Military Industries Sign Strategic Defense Agreement

RRI.CO.ID, Riyadh - Indonesia’s national defense industry reached a new international milestone as PT Pindad entered into a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI) Defense Systems on February 9, 2026. 

This collaboration, announced during the World Defense Show, focuses on strengthening technical synergy and industrial cooperation between the defense sectors of Indonesia and Saudi Arabia. Through this partnership, PT Pindad and SAMI will integrate their industrial strengths to enhance product quality and manufacturing efficiency, marking a major step forward in the strategic military alliance between the two sovereign nations.

Quoted on Kemlu's official website, the agreement reflects a high level of trust in the capabilities and quality of Indonesia’s national defense products, which have undergone rigorous evaluation and testing. This MoA marks a significant milestone for PT Pindad in expanding its international contribution and securing its position within the global defense supply chain.

Through this collaboration, PT Pindad will participate in production activities, research development, and technology transfer initiatives. These efforts align with the partner's defense strengthening agenda and support Saudi Arabia’s national development programs, including the Saudi Vision 2030.
