RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - The Indonesian National Police’s Mobile Brigade Corps (Brimob Polri) demonstrated its readiness and professionalism on the global stage by competing in the UAE SWAT Challenge 2026 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

“This event is not only about pursuing achievements, but also about showcasing the quality, resilience, and honor of Bhayangkara forces in the eyes of the world,” National Police Brimob Commander Commissioner General Ramdani Hidayat in Jakarta on Monday, February 9, 2026, as quoted by Antara.

Ramdani called on the Indonesian people to support the Brimob personnel competing in Dubai.

“We ask for prayers from all Indonesians so that our personnel remain healthy, safe, and successful in every match. Our team has trained intensively, fought wholeheartedly, and is proudly carrying Indonesia’s name,” he said.

He emphasized that the Brimob contingent continues to perform with confidence and spirit despite facing fierce competition from elite units worldwide during the final day of the challenge. Since departing Indonesia, the 38 selected personnel have undergone rigorous physical, tactical, and mental preparation.

“They came to Dubai not only as participants, but as ambassadors of the police and the nation, carrying the hopes of the Indonesian people. This is a significant moment for our best personnel who have fought tirelessly since the start of the competition,” Ramdani noted.

He added that the participants were carefully prepared to meet the demands of world-class competition.

“They are chosen personnel who have undergone long training, maintained high discipline, and received professional guidance. In the arena, our focus is on delivering the best performance, maintaining team solidarity, and competing with sportsmanship and honor,” he said.

At the UAE SWAT Challenge 2026, Indonesia’s contingent was divided into three main teams led by Police Commissioner James Hutagaol. ***
