Brazil to Host IBEM in March 2026

RRI.CO.ID, Bahia - Brazil is once again hosting the International Brazil Energy Meeting 2026 (iBEM 2026). This conference, covering the conventional, transitional, and renewable energy sectors, will be held from March 23-26, 2026, in Convenções Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. 

As a country with energy diversification above the global average, through iBEM 2026, Brazil seeks to accelerate energy integration, create new policies, and foster cross-sector collaboration that strengthens global energy security.

The Importance of iBEM 2026 for Future Energy

Brazil has long been known as a country with abundant energy resources. From oil, gas, hydro, wind, and solar, everything is available here. Therefore, it's no wonder Brazil has become a global benchmark in energy diversification. 

Through iBEM, various stakeholders from government, academia, industry, and investors will gather under one roof to discuss future energy scenarios. This year, the conference again highlights the issue of energy integration as the key to a more efficient, sustainable, and resilient system.

Business Exhibition: An industry exhibition featuring national and international companies with sustainable designs. Business Matchmaking Sessions: Scheduled 15-minute face-to-face meetings between energy buyers and sellers to facilitate real business opportunities. 

Commercial Arena: A space for companies to market their latest products and services to an audience of operations and maintenance specialists. 

ESG Arena: A three-day program that thoroughly explores environmental, social, and governance issues in the energy sector. 

Innovation Arena: A technology innovation center that brings together startups, researchers, and industry players.

Investment Arena: A meeting place for banks, investment funds, energy companies, and startups seeking project capital. 

Academic Congress: A forum for energy research and development driven by students, lecturers, and researchers. 

Technical Section & Field Visits: A forum for operations practitioners to share best practices, as well as technical visits to energy sites in Salvador.

The previous edition, iBEM 2025, attracted over 2,000 attendees from 25 countries. The event generated business transactions worth 75 million Brazilian Reals (BRL), in addition to other commercial opportunities that occurred on the exhibition grounds. 

The three-day event included a strategic conference, an academic congress, an innovation arena, ESG, financing, as well as technical sessions and field visits. iBEM became an important space to showcase how Brazil, and Bahia in particular, has successfully integrated various forms of energy into a single, sustainable system. 

The success of iBEM 2025 also further strengthened Brazil's reputation as a pioneer in energy utilization, from oil, gas, and hydro, to the latest wind and solar projects.
