RRI.CO.ID, Singapore - The Jupiter Aerobatic Team (JAT) of the Indonesian Air Force (TNI AU) conducted its first training session at Changi International Airport, Singapore, on Saturday, 31 January to Sunday, 1 February 2026. The preparation is for the Singapore Air Show (SAS) 2026, which will open on 3 February.

The second training session of JAT served as a validation and final synchronization phase ahead of its appearance at the Singapore Airshow 2026. The team known as The Jupiters once again demonstrated spectacular formations and maneuvers using the KT-1B Wong Bee aircraft. The training served as a dress rehearsal to ensure the safe and smooth running of the aerial demonstration.

In an official statement received by RRI VOI on Monday, 2 February 2026, the preparation also served as a benchmark for the team in perfecting its best performance over Singapore at this international event.

Meanwhile, technicians also conducted a thorough inspection of the six KT-1B Wong Bee aircraft that would be used. All avionics systems and flight safety aspects were ensured to be in optimal condition before the performance began.

During the training session, Indonesia's proud aerobatic team deployed six KT-1B Wong Bee aircraft. Several signature maneuvers, such as the Jupiter Roll, Delta Loop, Arrowhead Loop, and a series of other formations, were practiced to perfect their performance ahead of the international event.

Before the flight, the pilots participated in an internal briefing led by Lieutenant Colonel Ari Nugroho Widodo, Commander of the Education Squadron of 102, as Flight Leader. The briefing covered the maneuver plan, weather conditions, and implementation of safety procedures during the exercise.

The training was also used to synchronize and familiarize themselves with the flight display area so that the air show would run more harmoniously and optimally. In addition to the training, JAT also participated in a mass briefing with all SAS 2026 participants to coordinate flights and air demonstrations. ( Ahmad Faisal)
