KBRN, Jakarta: The Indonesian Embassy in Tehran has issued an official advisory urging all Indonesian citizens in Iran to remain vigilant amid ongoing developments in the country and the wider region. The appeal was posted on the embassy’s official Instagram account, @indonesiaintehran.

The embassy said the advisory was intended to raise awareness and ensure the safety of Indonesians living in or traveling through Iran. In its statement, the embassy emphasized the importance of prioritizing personal and family safety in daily activities.

Indonesians were urged to stay alert without panicking and to minimize risks in potentially uncertain situations. The embassy also encouraged citizens to maintain close communication with its office in Tehran and to report their condition and whereabouts to facilitate coordination, particularly in emergencies.

The advisory highlighted the need to avoid crowds and vulnerable areas, and to limit movement whenever possible to reduce the risk of being caught in dangerous situations.

Citizens were also reminded to safeguard valuables and important documents, and to ensure that they and their families are registered with the embassy as part of security and monitoring measures.
