President Prabowo Receives Credentials from 12 Newly Appointed Ambassadors

KBRN, Jakarta: Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto formally received letters of credence from 12 newly appointed ambassadors from friendly nations during a ceremony held at the Credential Room of the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta on Friday afternoon, November 7, 2025.

The diplomatic ceremony began with the playing of each country’s national anthem as the ambassadors arrived at the palace. One by one, they were welcomed by an honor guard from the Presidential Security Forces (Paspampres) before being received by President Prabowo.

The presentation of credentials marks the official start of each ambassador’s diplomatic mission in Indonesia.

The 12 ambassadors received by President Prabowo were:

- Barbara Szymanowska – Polish Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary (AEP) to Indonesia

- Khalid Jassim Alyassin – Kuwaiti AEP to Indonesia

- Gladys Kamia Isihanua – Solomon Islander AEP to Indonesia

- Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri – Pakistani AEP to Indonesia

- Sharon Ann Lennon – Irish AEP to Indonesia, accompanied by her spouse

- Tornike Nozadze – Georgian AEP to Indonesia

- Bernardo de Sicard Escoda – Spanish AEP to Indonesia

- Salem Ahmed Balfakeeh – Yemeni AEP to Indonesia

- Francisco de la Torre Galindo – Mexican AEP to Indonesia, accompanied by his spouse

- Ralf Beste – German AEP to Indonesia

- Muhammetnyyas Mashalov – Turkmen Non-resident AEP to Indonesia

- Patrick Hemmer – Luxembourgish Non-resident AEP to Indonesia

President Prabowo was accompanied at the ceremony by Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, Minister of Foreign Affairs Sugiono, Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, and Head of the Government Communication Agency Angga Raka Prabowo. ***
