RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - The Sunset di Kebun Series is redefining the national festival landscape by blending live entertainment with environmental advocacy to target a new generation of eco-conscious audiences. To support this vision, PT Mitra Natura Raya has launched a diverse event lineup designed to bridge the gap between popular culture and ecological preservation.

In a press statement released in Jakarta on Thursday, May 7, 2026, Managing Director, Marga Anggrianto, emphasized that the series is a strategic vehicle for institutional responsibility.

"As the manager of the Botanical Gardens, we carry the responsibility to protect and introduce conservation values to the public. The Sunset di Kebun (The Sunset in the garden) Series is our way of conveying that message through an approach closer to the younger generation, namely music and direct experience in nature," said Marga, as quoted by Antara.

The 2026 expansion introduces a versatile trio of programs, Sunset di Kebun, which offers a picnic-style green space experience, Sunset di Pantai (Sunset at the beach), a relaxed coastal alternative; and the newly debuted Jazz di Kebun (Jazz in the garden). The latter is specifically curated as an intimate format for audiences seeking a closer connection to the performers.

These initiatives are meticulously crafted to meet the experiential demands of Gen Z, millennials, and young families, transforming a traditional concert into a space for social interaction and environmental exploration.

At the heart of the festival's mission is a deep-rooted commitment to education, manifested through specialized programs. The Lestari initiative focuses on community-based environmental literacy, while Plant Heroes invites attendees to dive deeper into ecosystem maintenance and plant species preservation.

"We want the Sunset di Kebun Series to be a space where entertainment and education run side by side," explained President Director of PT Mitra Natura Raya, Michael Bayu A. Sumarijanto.

He added that through these programs, visitors can enjoy music while gaining a fresh understanding of the importance of protecting nature and ecosystem sustainability.

This lifestyle-centric approach is further bolstered by a strategic partnership with Tring! by Pegadaian, which serves as the primary enabler for integrating financial literacy into the festival experience. By merging financial tools with leisure, the partnership aims to make high-quality entertainment more accessible and relevant to modern lifestyles.

Senior Vice President of Tring! by Pegadaian, Yudi Sadono, noted that the collaboration aligns with the needs of contemporary youth. "Tring! by Pegadaian, as a financial application in the gold ecosystem, provides financial solutions relevant to the lifestyle of the younger generation. We want to be present in the moments they enjoy, while providing convenience and benefits in every experience," concluded Yudhi. ***
