RRI.CO.ID, Penajam Paser Utara: The implementation of the Super Education House Application shows measurable impact on digital literacy in a Frontier, Outermost, and Disadvantaged (3T) region school. The program was introduced by the Center for Data and Information Technology under the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education. It is currently being implemented at 020 Sepaku Elementary School in Penajam Paser Utara, East Kalimantan.
Out of 328 enrolled students, 155 are active users of the Ruang Murid feature. This represents a 47.2 percent digital adoption rate at the school. The progress reflects stronger student confidence in operating digital learning tools.
Students who previously struggled with mouse operation and application navigation now operate devices more independently. They can open and close applications without assistance from teachers. They also access learning content and explore educational features with growing confidence.
Syarinah, a teacher at 020 Sepaku Elementary School, said the transformation occurred within a relatively short period. The improvement followed structured mentoring and consistent digital practice in class sessions.
“Initially many students felt awkward using digital devices. Now they are more confident, able to navigate independently, and even brve enough to explore learning content without fear of making mistakes. Education House is not just a learning tool, but a medium that empowers students to grow positively in the digital world,” she said.
The application is used twice each month with sessions lasting 2 x 35 minutes. Sixteen teachers actively explore features including Virtual Lab, Digital Books, and Interactive Games. They also utilize the Seven Habits of Great Indonesian Children character module.
Teacher collaboration takes place through learning communities and the Teacher Working Group forum in Sepaku District. This collaborative approach supports sustainable implementation and practical classroom integration.
Head of the Center for Data and Information Technology, Yudhistira Nugraha, said on Sunday, 1 March 2026, that innovative intervention is necessary to address dropout challenges. He emphasized the importance of inclusive and engaging digital learning ecosystems.
“Breakthroughs and smart interventions are needed to address all these challenges. The Super Education House Application is part of the development of a deep and engaging education ecosystem initiated by Minister of Primary and Secondary Education Prof Mu’ti,” he said.
The experience of 020 Sepaku Elementary School shows digitalization is not merely technological modernization. It also functions as an instrument to expand access and improve learning quality. Proper technology utilization helps minimize geographic barriers and resource limitations.
