  • 60 MSME booths recorded IDR 1.9 billion in direct transactions during Bali Jagadhita 2026, with products from Bali and Nusa Tenggara projected to generate potential sales of up to IDR 23 billion.

RRI.CO.ID, Kuta - The Sanur Health Special Economic Zone (SEZ) was one of the main initiatives introduced by Bank Indonesia (BI) Bali to six ambassadors, aimed at encouraging investment in the Island of the Gods through the Bali Jagadhita 2026 program.

Head of the BI Bali Representative Office, Achris Sarwani, said promoting this strategic investment project strengthens the investment pillar outlined in Bali Jagadhita 2026, alongside trade, tourism, and efforts to expand market access for MSMEs.

“We are prioritizing the trade, tourism, and investment sectors, as well as opening market access for MSMEs,” Achris said at the closing ceremony of Bali Jagadhita 2026 in Kuta, Badung Regency, Bali, on Sunday, June 7, 2026, as reported by Antara.

The six ambassadors in attendance represented Armenia, Oman, Pakistan, Bulgaria, Romania, and Bahrain. They were invited to witness Bali’s growing investment potential firsthand, including the facilities and services available in the Sanur Health SEZ, as well as new services soon to launch.

BI Bali also facilitated meetings among diplomats, project implementers, and owners of 21 investment projects in Bali and Nusa Tenggara, as well as 35 other potential investors.

According to Achris, investment promotion is a key focus of Bali Jagadhita 2026. The event strengthens Bali’s position as an investment destination that relies not only on tourism but also on health and other productive economic sectors.

The MSME sector also recorded notable success. From June 5–7, 2026, at Mal Bali Galeria Kuta, transactions at 60 MSME booths reached approximately IDR 1.9 billion. MSME products from Bali and Nusa Tenggara are estimated to generate up to IDR 23 billion in additional transactions.

In the tourism sector, BI Bali supported the Bali Beyond Travel Fair (BBTF) in late May, which recorded potential transactions of around IDR 6.9 trillion. The BBTF brought together 407 buyers from 44 countries and 208 sellers from 12 Indonesian provinces.

Bali Provincial Secretary Dewa Made Indra said the local administration continues to provide broad investment opportunities, as long as they align with cultural preservation and environmental sustainability.

“We are open to investment. All investments must respect Balinese culture and support sustainability,” he said. ***
