Air Force Demonstration Highlights Indonesia's Independence Day Celebration

KBRN, Jakarta: An Indonesian Air Force aerial demonstration highlighted the commemoration of the 80th Anniversary of Indonesia’s Independence over the skies of Jakarta, Sunday (17/8/2025).
Preparations began on the airbase runway, as shown in photographs published by the Air Force.
The Air Force deployed various aircraft and helicopters for the occasion. This included EC-725 Caracal helicopters carrying a giant Indonesian flag, NAS-332 Super Puma helicopters, KT-1B Wongbee aircraft from the Jupiter Aerobatic Team, as well as a combined formation of F-16s, T-50i Golden Eagles, and Hawk 100/200s that created the number “80” in the sky.
