KBRN, Jakarta: The Indonesian Minister of Defense, Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, officially released the Patriot II Task Force Contingent of the Indonesian Military (TNI) from Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, Jakarta, Sunday (6/7/2025). This contingent would participate in the Bastille Day military parade and defile which will be held in Paris, France, on July 14, 2025.

Indonesia's participation in Bastille Day 2025 is even more special because Indonesia is scheduled as the guest of honor. This moment marks 75 years of Indonesia-France diplomatic relations and is proof of the closeness and commitment of the two countries in strengthening defense cooperation, especially in the Indo-Pacific region.

In a press release received by RRI VOI, Sunday evening (6/7/2025), the contingent of Patriot II Task Force consists of 451 joint personnel TNI including cadets of Army, Navy and Air Force Military Academies and cadets of Indonesian Police. Of these, 262 personnel are ceremonial troops from Army, Navy and Air Force, while 189 others are members of the combined drumband troops of cadets from the four academies.
