RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - Indonesian singer Bernadya has released her latest single titled "Rabun Jauh" ("Farsighted"). The song was written by Bernadya along with two well-known musicians, Rendy Pandugo and Kamga. This collaboration creates a warm musical tone while still carrying a strong sense of melancholy.

“Rabun Jauh” explores a theme that relates to many people-waiting for and longing for someone who never arrives. The title itself serves as a metaphor for the inability to see the future clearly, reflecting a state filled with uncertainty and doubt.

Wrapped in a minimalist and intimate ballad arrangement, the song allows the strength of the lyrics and Bernadya’s vocals to stand out. The overall mood feels personal and honest.

In a release by Juni Records on Monday, April 13, Bernadya said the song carries a sense of hope and that sometimes people choose “not to see” so things feel lighter. She also explained that “Rabun Jauh” captures the moment when someone finally decides to see clearly and accept reality, even when it hurts.

Meanwhile, Rendy Pandugo shared that when he first heard the demo of “Rabun Jauh,” he was quite surprised by its unique concept. He added that the song is written from the perspective of a singer on stage who can feel someone’s presence without seeing them clearly.

“Rabun Jauh” is the second single released ahead of Bernadya’s upcoming second album. The lyric video premiered on her official YouTube channel on April 13 and was produced by Seven Creative, a production house from Japan.

Through this release, Bernadya once again shows her consistency in creating music that connects with people’s experiences, especially in themes of relationships, hope, and disappointment.

The single “Rabun Jauh” is now available on various digital streaming platforms and is expected to resonate closely with listeners’ emotions.
