Undana Partners with Saint Louis College to Expand Networks

RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - Nusa Cendana University (Undana) in Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara, has taken another step in strengthening its international academic presence by forging a strategic partnership with Saint Louis College (SLC) of San Fernando, Philippines. The collaboration aims to boost cross-border research initiatives and academic mobility between the two institutions.

The agreement was formalized through a hybrid signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Undana’s Vice Rector for Student Affairs and Alumni, Siprianus Suban Garak, and SLC President Roderick G. Villamar.

“We are ready to collaborate in concrete ways. Our focus is to ensure that students and faculty from both sides gain access to joint research projects and scientific publications that address global needs,” Siprianus said on Sunday, February 15, 2026, as quotted by Antara.

He added that Undana welcomes students from the Philippines while also preparing to send its best students to participate in academic programs at SLC.

Undana, he noted, is committed to actively implementing all points of cooperation, including opening opportunities for student and faculty exchanges.

Speaking virtually, Roderick Villamar emphasized that the partnership reflects a shared commitment to respond to global challenges.

“This ceremony marks our joint dedication to providing international learning experiences and strengthening cross-cultural understanding. We are excited to begin exchanges in knowledge, training, and joint conferences,” he said.

He further highlighted that the collaboration is not limited to academic material exchange but represents a long-term investment in faculty development and research innovation.

Head of Undana’s International Relations Office, Santri E. P. Djahimo, noted that the partnership expands Undana’s global network, which already includes universities in Australia, the United States, and across Asia.
