RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - Indonesia's men’s sepak takraw team secured a place in the 2026 Asian Games semifinals after completing a perfect Group B campaign with three consecutive victories, strengthening the country’s opportunity to compete for a medal.
Indonesia closed the group stage with a convincing 2-0 victory over Singapore, winning 15-13 and 15-5 at Mizuho Park Gymnasium, Nagoya, on Thursday, October 1, 2026.
“Alhamdulillah, my teammates have given their best performance, but we were a bit nervous because the opponents immediately made an impact. Going forward, we will also make an impact from the start,” player Saiful Rijal said after the match on Thursday, October 1, as quoted by Antara.
