Indonesia Hosts FIFA ASEAN Cup 2026 Across Jakarta and Bandung

RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - Indonesia will use its role as host of the FIFA ASEAN Cup 2026 to bring regional football competition to domestic stadiums and provide Indonesian fans with access to 21 matches from September 25 to October 5, 2026.

According to the official FIFA website, Indonesia will host Division 1, with Group A matches taking place at Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) Main Stadium in Jakarta and Group B matches at Si Jalak Harupat Stadium in Bandung, West Java.

The tournament will open on Friday, September 25, when Indonesia face Singapore at 8 p.m. Jakarta time, Antara reported. Group A consists of Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Bangladesh, while Group B features Vietnam, Pakistan, Thailand and the Philippines.

After the opening match, John Herdman's side will face Malaysia on Monday, September 28, followed by a match against Bangladesh on Thursday, October 1. Both matches will kick off at 7:30 p.m. Jakarta time.

On the final group-match day, the Group A game between Malaysia and Singapore will be played at Si Jalak Harupat Stadium at the same time as Indonesia's match against Bangladesh at GBK.

In Group B, Thailand will face the Philippines at Si Jalak Harupat Stadium, while Vietnam will meet Pakistan at GBK. Both matches will kick off at 4 p.m. Jakarta time.

All FIFA ASEAN Cup 2026 matches will be broadcast by EMTEK Media. Indonesian audiences can watch 21 matches through free-to-air broadcasts on Indosiar, SCTV and Moji, as well as the Vidio OTT platform and NEX paid satellite television.

EMTEK Media will produce all 14 Division 1 matches hosted by Indonesia, along with the opening and closing ceremonies of the FIFA ASEAN Cup 2026. The broadcasts will also be distributed to other countries.

EMTEK Media has also prepared a broadcasting strategy to ensure football fans can follow all matches in both Division 1 and Division 2.
