Partnering with China's Zhang Shuai, Tjen defeated Kamilla Rakhimova and Fang Hsien Wu in straight sets, 6-3, 6-4, on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, local time, according to the tournament's official records.
The third-seeded pair secured their place in the last eight after a one-hour, 13-minute victory in the hard-court tournament, which serves as a key preparation event before the US Open.
Tjen and Zhang started strongly, although Rakhimova and Wu briefly leveled the opening set, Antara reported. The Indonesian-Chinese duo regained control, opening a 3-1 advantage before closing the first set 6-3.
