RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta – Indonesia’s rising women’s singles shuttler Ni Kadek Dhinda Amartya Pratiwi showcased commanding form at the BWF World Tour Super 300 Taipei Open 2026, sweeping past Taiwan’s Lee Yu‑Hsuan 21‑14, 21‑5 in her opening qualifying match at Taipei Arena on Tuesday.
The 23‑year‑old now stands one win away from securing a place in the main draw. She will face Malaysia’s Kisona Selvaduray in the final qualifying round. Kisona advanced after defeating India’s Aakarshi Kashyap 21‑15, 21‑19.
A victory would see Dhinda join compatriot Thalita Ramadhani Wiryawan in the women’s singles main draw. From the outset, Dhinda controlled the tempo, racing to an early lead in the first game and holding firm through long rallies to close it 21‑14, Antara reported.
Her confidence soared in the second, where she unleashed a string of aggressive attacks to build an 11‑4 interval lead before sealing the match 21‑5 with seven consecutive points.
Indonesia’s presence in Taipei extends beyond singles. Four mixed doubles pairs are scheduled to compete in the round of 32 on Tuesday evening, July 28, including Renaldi Samosir/Masita Mahmudin against Malaysia’s Chen Tang Jie/Clarissa San, and Dejan Ferdinansyah/Apriyani Rahayu versus Japan’s Haruki Kawabe/Kokona Ishikawa.
Two Indonesian duos will also face each other in an all‑domestic clash.
