RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - Indonesia’s women’s road cycling team achieved a historic result by finishing second in the team classification at the Biwase Tour of Vietnam 2026, after completing five stages of racing across Vietnam from March 4 to 8.

According to the final standings, the Indonesian squad trailed Norway’s Hitec Products–Fluid Control, which won the team title with a total time of 45 hours 53 minutes 51 seconds. The Indonesian team finished 15 minutes 29 seconds behind the champions.

“The struggle through the five stages of the Biwase Tour of Vietnam 2026 UCI 2.2 has been completed with great determination by Tim Cycling Road Women Indonesia 2026,” the Indonesian Cycling Federation (ICF) said in a statement on its official Instagram account on Sunday, March 8, as quoted by Antara.

In the individual general classification, Indonesian cyclist Ayustina Delia Priatna, who led the race during the first three stages, finished fourth overall after placing seventh in the final stage. Ayustina recorded a time gap of 1 minute 10 seconds behind race winner Marina Komina of Lining Star Ladies, who posted a total time of 15 hours 16 minutes 37 seconds.

Second and third place went to Karin Soderqvist and Oda Aune Gissinger of Hitec Products–Fluid Control, who finished 10 seconds and 41 seconds behind Komina, respectively.

Besides Ayustina, four other Indonesian cyclists completed the race. Ida Ayu Malik L. Dewi finished 13th overall, followed by Andini Putri Anatasya in 22nd place, Dewika Mulya Sova in 29th, and Nihayatuzzain Asshofi in 42nd.

In the young rider classification for the white jersey, Ida Ayu placed fourth, Andini seventh, and Nihayatuzzain 14th.

The ICF said the Indonesian team’s campaign in Vietnam will continue at the Biwase Cup 2026, scheduled for March 10 to 14. “It does not stop at the Biwase Tour of Vietnam 2026. Tomorrow we will be ready to continue at the Biwase Cup 2026,” the federation stated. ***
