RRI.CO.ID, Viterbo - Young Indonesian karting prodigy Qarrar Firhand delivered a standout performance at the opening round of the World Series Karting (WSK) Euro Series 2026 at the Viterbo Circuit in Italy, clinching victory in Heat 1 of the OK Final class despite wet track conditions following rain.

Starting from second place in qualifying, Qarrar dominated the race and crossed the finish line first, with a commanding 7.914-second lead over his closest rival. He also recorded the fastest lap across all groups, clocking 1:03.800, further underscoring his competitive edge on the international karting stage.

Qarrar shared his triumph on social media on February 14, 2026. “Proud to raise the Red and White on the WSK podium. Thank you for all the support, this is for Indonesia,” he wrote.

The WSK Euro Series is one of Europe’s premier feeder championships, attracting talented young drivers from around the world and often serving as a steppingstone to higher levels of formula racing, including Formula 4 (F4).

Currently managed by All Road Management, which also represents Formula 1 star Charles Leclerc, Qarrar is well-positioned to advance his career in formula racing.

His latest achievement comes ahead of his planned debut in the British Formula 4 Championship later this year, where he is set to become the first Indonesian driver to compete in the European F4 category.

Qarrar has already demonstrated consistency in other karting series, including the WSK Super Master Series and the FIA Euro Karting Series, where he secured points and podium finishes last season.
