RRI VOI Opens Paid Internship Positions for Four Indonesians, Here's the Details

RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta – RRI Voice of Indonesia (RRI VOI), of Indonesia's public radio Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI), is opening applications for an internship program specifically for Indonesian citizens interested in gaining work experience at an international media organization. This recruitment is part of the National Internship Program (Program Magang Nasional) Batch 2 of 2026, organized by Indonesia’s Ministry of Manpower.
RRI VOI will accept a total of four interns for this opportunity. They will be assigned to the data and information manager position, as well as diploma-level and bachelor-level broadcasting officer positions.
As quoted from the ministry's MagangHub platform, applicants must be Indonesian citizens (proven with a National Identification Number/NIK) and must be graduates of a higher education institution registered with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology.
Applicants must have graduated no more than one year prior to the application date, calculated from the date stated on their diploma or professional certificate with a professional certificate must have been obtained no more than two years after the date of the applicant’s diploma or bachelor’s degree.
Successful applicants will undertake a six-month internship at the RRI VOI office in Central Jakarta, Special Capital Region of Jakarta, if the internship is offline. Interns will work under the guidance of a mentor five days a week, with Saturdays and Sundays as their days off.
Interns will receive a monthly stipend equivalent to Jakarta’s minimum wage, based on the location of the RRI VOI office. They will also receive work accident and death insurances, with the premiums paid by the government throughout the internship period.
Upon completion of the internship, participants will receive an official competency certificate from the Ministry of Manpower, recognized by national industries in Indonesia. Details of each internship position are as follows:
1. Pengelola Data dan Informasi – Data and Information Manager (1 position)
- Background: Diploma in Management, Government Administration, or Office Administration.
- Description: The intern will assist with the systematic collection, recording, inputting, and management of data to ensure that it is properly stored, complete, and easy to retrieve. The intern will also conduct data checks and controls to ensure the completeness, consistency, and accuracy of the information produced. In addition, the intern will help process data into accurate, relevant, and accountable information to support administrative needs and work activities within the relevant unit.
2. Asisten Pranata Siaran Terampil – Diploma-Level Broadcasting Officer (2 positions)
- Background: Diploma in Mandarin Language.
- Description: The intern will assist with translating news scripts, producing radio content, creating digital content, and gaining exposure to international journalism.
3. Pranata Siaran Ahli Pertama – Bachelor-Level Broadcasting Officer (1 position)
- Background: Bachelor’s degree in French Literature.
- Description: The intern will assist with translating news scripts, producing radio content, creating digital content, and gaining exposure to international journalism.
