RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta – The Indonesia's Ministry of Finance and the State Treasurer (BUN) have successfully received the highest audit rating of Clean Opinion from the Supreme Audit Agency. This achievement demonstrates transparency in the management of the state budget amid the dynamics of the global economy.

The Audit Report on the 2025 Financial Statements was received directly by Finance Minister, Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa, in Jakarta on Friday, July 31, 2026. These audit results reaffirm the government’s commitment to maintaining transparent financial accountability.

“Although the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) has issued a clean opinion, we recognize that there are still several areas that need improvement. We greatly appreciate the various recommendations provided, which we will use as a starting point for making improvements by seriously following up on each recommendation,” he said, as quoted from the ministry’s written press release.

These audit results were achieved because of strong fiscal governance in the face of international economic challenges. The performance of the State Budget throughout 2025 proved capable of keeping Indonesia’s economic growth stable at 5.11 percent.

Ongoing collaboration between ministries and auditing institutions is key to improving the quality of public financial reports. This approach ensures that every allocation from the State Budget is used in an accountable manner to promote development efficiency.

The Minister of Finance stated, “I hope the BPK RI will continue to support various efforts to accelerate the implementation of follow-up actions on recommendations, in order to foster better financial governance.”

The Ministry remains committed to following up on every directive from the BPK to strengthen budget governance. This step is expected to further boost international investors’ confidence in Indonesia’s economic fundamentals.
