Brie Highlights Self-Acceptance Through Latest Song “SPICE”

RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta – Indonesian singer Brie explores confidence, individuality, and self-acceptance through her latest song, “SPICE,” released on her birthday on August 19. Wrapped in smooth alternative R&B, the song features Brie’s sharp vocal character, giving the track a distinctive musical identity.

Speaking on The Session on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, Brie explained that “SPICE” represents her bolder side, contrasting with the sweetness often expected of women. She described her “sugar” side as sweet and adaptable, while “spice” reflects the fearless side she believes everyone possesses.

For Brie, everyone has some “spice” within them, giving people the courage to embrace their authentic selves. She believes people deserve acceptance and should not always feel obligated to tone down their personalities.

“I feel like we need to have the audacity to at least be who we are, and I feel like a lot of us deserve to feel accepted. It's not something we have to tone down, necessarily,” she said. She added that people don't have to follow every expectation, as long as they remain respectful of others.

Brie, whose full name is Tiffany Gabriella, emphasized that being unapologetically yourself does not mean disregarding other people’s feelings, boundaries, or perspectives. Instead, she encourages listeners to remain considerate while confidently expressing who they truly are without unnecessary compromise.
