APCQP President Calls for Stronger Collaboration and Unity to Support Palestine

RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - President of the Asia-Pacific Coalition for Quds and Palestine (APCQP), Prof. Sudarnoto Abdul Hakim, has called for stronger collaboration and unity among various elements of society to strengthen the struggle for Palestinian independence and the liberation of Al-Quds.The call was made during SIMATINA 2026, themed “Resisting the Desecration of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Occupation of Palestine,” held on Monday, August 31, 2026.

As quoted from mui.or.id, the event was held with the support of the Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation Agency of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI), as well as the Chairpersons of the People’s Consultative Assembly (MPR RI) and the House of Representatives (DPR RI). The event also marked the commencement of operations of the Asia-Pacific Coalition for Quds and Palestine (APCQP) Headquarters in Jakarta.

Sudarnoto also affirmed that the APCQP Headquarters has a mission to serve as a driving force for cross-sector collaboration in reinforcing the Palestinian struggle. Such collaboration involves philanthropic organizations, university networks, youth movements, and parliamentary diplomacy.

“Our mission is to drive cross-sector collaboration by synergizing the strengths of philanthropic organizations, university networks, youth movements, and parliamentary diplomacy toward one goal: full independence for Palestine and the liberation of Al-Quds,” he conveyed.

To achieve this goal, he underscored that unity among various elements of society is essential to fostering the Palestinian solidarity movement. He noted that the struggle requires the involvement of different groups, each contributing according to their respective roles and strengths.

He therefore called on parliamentarians, religious scholars, academicians, youth, women, and professionals to unite their efforts in supporting the Palestinian cause.

“Let parliamentarians unite, let religious scholars unite, let academics unite, let the youth unite, let women unite, and let all professionals unite to exert pressure on Israel,” he urged.

In line with this call, the establishment of the APCQP Headquarters in Jakarta is expected to serve as a common platform for all coalition members and humanitarian partners to strengthen the coordination of the Palestinian solidarity movement across the Asia-Pacific region.

The APCQP President emphasized that the Headquarters is not merely an organizational workplace, but rather a shared platform for various groups committed to supporting the Palestinian cause.
