UNDP Goodwill Ambassador Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden to Visit Indonesia

RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden will visit Indonesia from 4–8 September 2026, in her capacity as a United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Goodwill Ambassador.

The visit will focus on the UNDP’s partnership with the Government of Indonesia regarding sustainable development, climate action, biodiversity conservation, digital transformation, and inclusive economic growth.

In Jakarta, Crown Princess Victoria will meet government leaders, development partners, the private sector, youth leaders, and United Nations representatives to discuss how innovation, digital transformation, and blended finance can help accelerate progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The itinerary also includes a visit to East Nusa Tenggara, where Crown Princess Victoria will meet communities and partners working to preserve Indonesia’s unique natural heritage while creating sustainable economic opportunities through ecotourism and nature-based development.

Crown Princess Victoria’s visit offers an opportunity to witness these innovations firsthand and to highlight how local action can help drive global progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals,” said Alexander De Croo, UNDP Administrator.

Crown Princess Victoria was appointed as a UNDP Goodwill Ambassador in October 2023. In this role, The Crown Princess supports efforts to raise awareness and encourage engagement on the SDGs and a sustainable future where no one is left behind.
