RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - Indonesia will serve as the Partner Country at INNOPROM 2026, an international industrial exhibition and conference to be held in Yekaterinburg, Russia, from July 6–9, 2026.

Russia views Indonesia’s participation as a pivotal moment to strengthen bilateral industrial cooperation. Russian Ambassador to Indonesia Sergei Tolchenov confirmed that Minister of Industry Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita will lead the Indonesian delegation.

He noted that Indonesia is expected to send a large contingent comprising government representatives and business leaders.

“We have received written confirmation that Mr. Agus Kartasasmita will head the Indonesian delegation. We also expect a sizeable delegation from Indonesia,” Tolchenov said during a press briefing in Jakarta on Wednesday, June 24, 2026.

According to Russian trade representatives, around 200 participants from Indonesian companies--both state-owned and private--have registered for the event, representing diverse industrial sectors.

Indonesia’s role as Partner Country will be showcased through a national pavilion, providing a platform for Indonesian firms to present products, technologies, and industrial innovations to Russian and international stakeholders.

“Indonesia will have a national pavilion at the exhibition, offering companies the chance to showcase their goods, technologies, and products--not only to Russian partners but also to the global audience,” Tolchenov added.

Beyond the exhibition, the Indonesian delegation is expected to hold a series of business and government meetings. Minister Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita is scheduled to meet with Russian Minister of Industry and Trade Anton Alikhanov and several regional leaders attending the event.

Tolchenov emphasized that INNOPROM 2026 could mark a milestone in advancing practical industrial cooperation between the two nations, with plans underway for the signing of agreements and memoranda of understanding. (Diva Rifdah)
