The annual event was officially opened by Vice Minister of Home Affairs, Bima Arya Sugiarto. Various regency and city governments from all over Indonesia participated by displaying the best superior commodities of their respective regions.

Vice Minister of Trade, Dyah Roro Esti directly inspected the exhibition booths alongside a group of regional leaders. The presence of government officials demonstrates a strong commitment to supporting the expansion of local business investments at the global level.

Quoted from the ministry's photo news, the ministry appreciated the implementation of AEO 2026 as a promotional venue for local products with the potential to penetrate export markets. The government hopes this exhibition can significantly boost regional trade transaction volumes.

This step also serves as an important arena for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to expand business partnerships. Direct interaction among business actors is expected to open broader trade cooperation opportunities.
