RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - Mirae Asset Sekuritas Indonesia, a local brokerage under the Mirae Asset group, is expanding into a new business line by launching its Wealth Management services. The services target the middle-class and mass‑affluent segments, referring to individuals above the middle class but not yet considered wealthy.

“Wealth Management is not only about the products available, but begins with understanding clients’ needs and providing the right solutions,” said Tomi Taufan, Director of PT Mirae Asset Sekuritas Indonesia, during a Media Day event on Tuesday, August 18, 2026.

He said Mirae has shifted its approach for this service. “We have moved from being product‑centric to client‑centric,” Tomi said.

According to him, Wealth Management represents a transformation aimed at addressing clients’ increasingly diverse needs. The market, he added, is becoming more dynamic and selective, leading to evolving investor expectations.

“Investors not only need access to various investment products. They also need services that help them manage their assets according to their needs and long‑term financial goals,” Tomi said.

The growing middle‑class and mass‑affluent segments are creating larger market opportunities. At the same time, public demand for more targeted financial management, investment, and asset growth continues to rise.

Tomi explained that the Wealth Management transformation is supported by five key pillars: Service, Product, Access, Global, and Technology. These pillars encompass more personalized services and a broader range of investment product options.

Clients using these services will gain access to Mirae Asset’s global investment ecosystem, along with technological support to help monitor their portfolios and develop investment strategies aligned with their financial goals.

“Through this Wealth Management transformation, we aim to build long‑term relationships with our clients. We also seek to provide services and solutions tailored to their needs, supported by our national network and global ecosystem,” said Tomi. (Gusti Panji)
