RRI.CO.ID, Moscow - The Indonesian Embassy in Moscow will showcase Indonesia's cultural diversity through “Beautiful Indonesia: Unity in Diversity”. The program will be held in Moscow on Saturday, August 29, 2026, during the Theater Boulevard Festival.

The event will take place at the Krug stage on Chistoprudny Boulevard from 15:00 to 18:00 local time. Muscovites and visitors can enjoy traditional dances, pencak silat, gamelan music, interactive activities, quizzes, and Wayang Kulit.

The first part, titled “Harmony of Dance and Movement”, will feature several Indonesian cultural performances. Kirana Nusantara Dance and students from Moscow City Open College's choreography department will perform during the session.

The program will present Lenggang Nyai, Piring, Dolalak, Bajidor Kahot from West Java, and Jatilan. It will also feature Medley of Nusantara, which brings together dance traditions from across the Indonesian archipelago.

A Pencak Silat demonstration will also be presented by masters of the Russian Pencak Silat Federation. The traditional martial art is included on the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage List.

The program will continue with an interactive dance and quiz offering prizes for audiences. Visitors can also take photographs with the artists during the intermission between the two program sections.

The second part will feature the Wayang Kulit shadow theater performance “Satriya Botok” (“The Warrior in the Spice”). Accompanied by the Gamelan Dadali ensemble, the performance tells the story of warrior Bima confronting giant Prabu Boko.
