Bogor Youth Showcase Indonesian Culture at European Festivals

RRI.CO.ID, Bogor - Young representatives from Bogor Regency, West Java have once again brought Indonesia’s name to the international stage through cultural festivals in Europe, which are Summerfest XXIII in Hungary and the 25th Interetno Festival in Serbia, held from August 20 to 24, 2026. Performing as part of LUCI and Indonesia Art Studio (SSI), the delegates introduced the diversity of Indonesian arts and culture to international audiences.
Their participation formed part of a cultural mission to promote Indonesia’s artistic heritage while demonstrating the capabilities of Bogor Regency’s younger generation on the international stage. The delegates also expressed pride in representing Indonesia throughout the festival series.
“We are the Indonesian group, LUCI and SS. We are proud to be here to introduce Indonesian culture,” a delegation representative said on Wednesday, August 26, 2026.
Before departing for the festivals, the delegates were officially sent off by Bogor Regent, Rudy Susmanto. The send-off reflected the Bogor Regency Administration’s support for local young people who were given the opportunity to perform in international cultural events.
“It is an honor to send off Bogor Regency’s finest young representatives to perform and carry Indonesia’s name at Summerfest XXIII in Hungary and the 25th Interetno Festival in Serbia,” said Rudy.
He urged the delegates to showcase their best work, culture and talents during the festivals. He also asked all participants to maintain unity, safeguard their health, and uphold the good name of Bogor Regency and Indonesia.
“Carry the pride of our region, bring honor to Indonesia, and become a source of pride for the nation. Maintain your unity, health, and the good name of our region. Leave with pride and return with pride,” he said.
The Bogor Regency delegation’s performances demonstrate that young people from the region possess talents capable of appearing on the international stage. Their participation also provides an opportunity to introduce Indonesian arts and culture to global audiences. (Annaila Azzahra-EN)
