KBRN, Tokyo: Indonesia celebrated success at Miss International 2025 in Tokyo on Thursday (11/27/2025). Melliza Yulian earned 3rd Runner Up among eighty global contestants.

The Indonesian Embassy in Tokyo offered full support to her during the competition. The Embassy's First Secretary for Information, Social, and Culture, Iqbal Amrullah praised her achievement at the celebration on Friday (11/28/2025).

"This proves the quality of Putri Indonesia (Miss Indonesia) that includes character, intelligence, and concern to global contemporary issues as well as beauty," Iqbal stated in the embassy's press release received on Tuesday (12/2/2025).

Melliza advanced from Top 20 to the final four with strong performances. She gained recognition for her humanistic vision and emotional well-being advocacy.

She presented Indonesian culture through puppetry, Javanese singing, and traditional dance. Her promotion of the kebaya received positive responses from participants.

She is a model, public speaker, and active social advocate. She frequently discusses youth empowerment, education, and cultural values.

Her 2024 title enabled her participation in Miss International 2025. Colombia won the crown, followed by Zimbabwe, Bolivia, Indonesia, and the Philippines.
