RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta – Turkish Man Inspires Kota Juang Bireuen Museum as a general public institution dedicated to preserving the rich history and cultural heritage of Bireuen, Aceh. The museum stands as a tribute to historical figures and serves as an educational center for visitors to understand the region's long journey.

Founded on March 30, 2021, and inaugurated by the Regent of Bireuen, the museum was established under the initiative of the family of H. Abubakar bin Ibrahim bin Salim Bey. It honors the legacy of a Turkish-born man who dedicated his life to the local community and contributed significantly to the development of regional civilization.

Located on Jalan H. Oeb Mubin No. 31, Gampong Baro, the museum occupies a 600-square-meter site that also houses the family tombs of its founding figures. The architectural complex features two main structures, namely a traditional Acehnese house and a duplication of the Meuligoe Bireuen.

Managed independently by the Kota Juang Bireuen Museum Foundation, the institution operates with a strong community-driven approach to safeguard local heritage. It functions as a public educational medium and a space for reflection on values like tolerance, national unity, and social ethics.

Although its current artifact inventory is still under active development, the museum is conceptually designed to gather historical items belonging to local heroes, scholars, and artists. It aims to protect traditional objects from extinction while serving as a vital repository for community memory.

Visitors can explore the museum daily from Monday to Sunday, including public holidays, between 09.00 and 12.00 local time with an entrance fee of Rp15.000. This accessible schedule invites tourists and students alike to engage directly with the historical and cultural narratives of Bireuen.

As the pioneering museum in the regency, it plays a strategic role in shaping national character and promoting historical tourism in the area. Through its unique blend of Turkish heritage and Acehnese tradition, the museum continues to inspire visitors and preserve local pride.
