RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - President Prabowo Subianto made a leadership reshuffle at the National Nutrition Agency or BGN to strengthen the service of the Free Nutritious Meal Program. Dadan Hindayana was replaced by Nanik S. Deyang, who previously served as the Deputy Head of BGN.
The Minister of State Secretary, Prasetyo Hadi, said that the change was the result of the government's evaluation of BGN's performance over the past one and a half years. This step is expected to improve organizational governance and the quality of the implementation of the Free Nutritious Meal Program in the field.
"For approximately one and a half years of monitoring and evaluation, today, Tuesday, June 2, 2026, the President has decided to replace the leadership of the National Nutrition Agency," Prasetyo said in Jakarta, Tuesday, June 2, 2026.
He explained that several evaluation notes served as the basis for the President's decision-making. Some of them are related to the discipline in implementing SOPs, organizational governance, and maintaining food quality according to the standards set by the National Nutrition Agency.
Nevertheless, Prasetyo emphasized that the leadership change will not disrupt the implementation of the Free Nutritious Meal Program, which is one of the government's priority programs.
"The government once again emphasizes that this leadership change will not disrupt our commitment to implementing the free nutritious meal program carried out by the National Nutrition Agency. May this step be a good start for strengthening the service of the free nutritious meal program so that it can run as well as possible," he added.
Prasetyo hopes the new leadership will quickly conduct internal consolidation, strengthen coordination across ministries, agencies, and local governments, and accelerate the implementation of the government's priority programs in the field of community nutrition improvement.
