KBRN, Jakarta: On February 14, 2025, users of the Jabodetabek Integrated Light Rail (LRT) can enjoy free chocolate that will be distributed at 5 p.m Jakarta time until last supplies at Cawang Station. The free chocolate giveaway is part of the "LRT Jabodetabek in Love" event celebrating Valentine's Day.

On the same day, activities will also be held to test the teamwork of couples, friends, or families. These activities will take place through a series of mini games at the Center Jakarta LRT Cawang Station starting at 3:30 p.m Jakarta time.

“With this event, we hope to provide a different experience for users while strengthening relationships among family members and friends during Valentine’s moment,” said Mahendro Trang Bawono, the Jakarta Center LRT Public Relations Manager, on Thursday, February 13, 2025, as quoted by rri.co.id.

He added that LRT Jabodetabek wants to be more than just a mode of transportation. It is a travel partner that supports happiness, sustainability, and community mobility.

The winners of the event will receive shopping vouchers worth IDR 1,000,000 (approximately USD 61.44) for the first place. Meanwhile, the second and third place winners will each receive vouchers of IDR 700,000 (approximately USD 43) and IDR 500,000 (approximately USD 30).

Additionally, LRT Jabodebek is hosting a video competition themed around love, running from February 13 to 23, 2025. Participants are asked to create a one-minute video with their partner, friends, or family inside the train or at the station.

Participants must then upload their videos to Instagram using the hashtags #LRTJABODEBEKInLove and #lrtjabodebek. The video competition offers a shopping voucher price of IDR 2,000,000 (approximately USD 122.88) for the first-place winner.

Second and third place winners will receive IDR 1,500,000 (approximately USD 92) and IDR 1,000,000 (approximately USD 61.44), respectively. An additional price of IDR 700,000 (approximately USD 30) will be awarded for the video with the most likes. ***
