RRI.CO.ID, Central Lombok - The Mandalika Grand Prix Association (MGPA) is gearing up to transform the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit into a premier holiday destination, offering a variety of high-octane experiences for the Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah (Lebaran 2026) break.
From adrenaline-pumping taxi rides to serene sunset tours, the circuit in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) aims to provide a world-class motorsport atmosphere for both domestic and international tourists. MGPA President Director Priandi Satria announced that these activities will be available at special promotional prices to celebrate the festive season.
Visitors looking to step onto the iconic asphalt can take advantage of several discounted programs during the holiday season.
The sightseeing at the circuit program offers a guided walking or light touring experience at a promotional rate of IDR 50,000 (USD 2.94) per person, down from the normal price of IDR 75,000. This activity is available on weekends from 06.00–09.00 local time and 17.00–18.00 local time.
For those seeking more speed, the Taxi Ride allows guests to experience the thrill of the track from the passenger seat for IDR 400,000 for two laps, reduced from the standard IDR 650,000 for three laps.
Additionally, the CBR 250 Experience invites participants to ride a high-performance bike for three laps at a promo price of IDR 400,000, compared to the usual IDR 450,000. Finally, Drift Kart sessions are available for those seeking fun at any age, priced at IDR 100,000 per five-minute session.
“We are presenting various exciting activity options that the community and tourists can enjoy while visiting the The Mandalika area, Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara,” Priandi said on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, as quoted by Antara.
Beyond the driving experiences, the circuit offers a unique vantage point for Lombok’s natural beauty. One of the most sought-after moments for visitors is watching the sunset from Turn 10, which overlooks the iconic Mandalika coastline.
Priandi expressed hope that these initiatives will further bolster Indonesia’s sport tourism sector. “The Idul Fitri holiday is a moment of togetherness with family and relatives. We invite the public to visit Mandalika, enjoy various activities at the circuit, and at the same time feel the complete tourism atmosphere in this area,” he added.
For those planning a visit, please note that the Mandalika Circuit will be closed to the public on March 21–22, 2026, in observance of the Eid al-Fitr holidays. Normal operations and tourism activities will resume on March 23, 2026.
Through these inclusive automotive tourism destinations, the MGPA continues to position Mandalika as a versatile hub that blends professional racing with family-friendly leisure. ***
