Vice Minister of Tourism Inspects the Readiness of Several Destinations in Bali

RRI.CO.ID, Bali - Vice Minister of Tourism, Ni Luh Puspa, personally inspected several tourist destinations in Bali to ensure their readiness for the surge in tourist visits during the 2026 Eid al-Fitr holiday period. The Eid al-Fitr holiday is expected to be one of the periods with the highest surge in domestic tourist visits to various Indonesian tourist destinations, including Bali.
The visit, which took place on Friday, 6 March 2026, included visits to several prime destinations in Bali, namely Uluwatu, GWK Cultural Park, Melasti Beach, and Kuta Beach. During the inspection, the Deputy Minister of Tourism was accompanied by representatives from the tourism industry and the Badung Regency Tourism Office.
They reviewed several important aspects of each destination, from visitor management and tourism service readiness, cleanliness, security, risk management, anticipation of extreme weather, and the implementation of CHSE (Cleanliness, Health, Safety, and Environmental Sustainability) standards.
The first destination visited was Uluwatu. The Vice Minister inspected the infrastructure and supporting facilities for tourists at this destination, known for its panoramic limestone cliffs with the Indian Ocean as a backdrop. He also personally visited various supporting facilities, such as health facilities, restrooms, and the Kecak dance stage, a leading tourist attraction.
The inspection then continued to GWK Cultural Park. In this area, known for its iconic Garuda Wisnu Kencana statue, the Deputy Minister personally inspected the visitor management system established by the management, including ticket counters, command centers, health facilities, and other public facilities.
The Ministry of Tourism has previously issued a Circular Letter from the Minister of Tourism to local governments, associations, and tourism businesses to ensure the implementation of safe, comfortable, and enjoyable tourism activities during the Eid holiday period. Tourist destination managers in Bali also expressed their readiness and commitment to providing the best service to tourists during the Eid al-Fitr holiday period.
Meanwhile, Uluwatu Tourism Attraction General Manager, I Wayan Wijana, stated that his team has made various preparations to welcome the increase in tourist visits, which is estimated to reach 30 to 50 percent.
