RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta – PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) Wisata has officially launched the Panoramic Train service for the Jakarta, Yogyakarta, and Solo routes. This facility is available specifically to welcome the 2026 Eid al-Fitr transportation season. KAI Wisata via X officially made the statement on Tuesday, 24 February 2026.

The addition of this route aims to provide a special travel experience for travelers. Passengers can now enjoy the natural beauty along the Central Java route with more freedom.

“Now you can enjoy a special journey from Jakarta to Yogyakarta and Solo with the Panoramic Train,” KAI Wisata via X stated. This service offers stunning large glass windows for every passenger.

This premium service is designed to provide maximum comfort during long journeys. Exclusive facilities inside the train ensure every moment is more peaceful and memorable.

KAI Wisata noted that public interest in this train is very high. This is the main reason for providing additional schedules on selected routes.

“The high enthusiasm of the public for the Panoramic Train has prompted us to offer additional trips on selected routes,” they said. Through this schedule, more customers can experience the sensation of natural panoramas.

This additional schedule will operate from February 23 until early April 2026. The train will depart from Gambir Station to Yogyakarta and Solo Balapan.

Facilities provided include a luxury lounge, automatic sunroof, and complimentary snacks. Free WiFi and a dedicated train attendant are also available to serve passengers. Tickets can be booked through the official sales channels of PT Kereta Api Indonesia.
