RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - Indonesia’s premier motorcycle racing venue is turning the holy month of Ramadan into a tourism draw, as the Mandalika Grand Prix Association (MGPA) launches a series of discounted public activities at the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit in West Nusa Tenggara.
MGPA President Director Priandhi Satria said in Central Lombok on Saturday, February 21, 2026, that the “Ngabuburide Ramadhan 1447 Hijriah” promotion is designed to create a warmer and more meaningful Ramadan atmosphere for visitors to the circuit complex, while helping boost tourist arrivals in the region.
“This Ramadan promo applies to activities that have already been running as usual, with price adjustments as added value during the holy month,” Priandhi said, as quoted by Antara.
Under the program, visitors can enjoy “Lampaq di Sirkuit”, a walking and light activity session around the track, at IDR 50,000 (around USD 3.2) per person, down from the normal IDR 75,000.
The activity is available every weekend from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. local time. On weekdays, it can be arranged at the same hours with a minimum booking of 20 participants.
MGPA is also offering discounted “Taxi Ride” and “CBR 250 Experience” sessions daily during Ramadan from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., provided there is no race event or track day scheduled.
Taxi Ride is priced at IDR 400,000 (about USD 26) for two laps, reduced from IDR 650,000 for three laps, while the CBR 250 experience is offered at IDR 400,000 for three laps, down from IDR 450,000.
In addition, a “track experience” option allows visitors to ride their own vehicles on the circuit before sunset with a minimum of 10 participants, with a 15 percent discount during Ramadan. MGPA is also offering 15 percent off selected official merchandise and pledging to donate 5 percent of profits from the Ramadan promotion period to charity.
“We present this Ramadan promo so that people can experience the Mandalika Circuit more affordably during the holy month, without reducing service quality. We hope this activity becomes a positive option during Ramadan,” he concluded. ***
