KBRN, Jakarta: Promising a singular, immersive listening experience, the Jakarta International Audio Video Show (JIAVS) 2025 is scheduled for November 7–9, 2025, at the Fairmont Hotel Jakarta.
The event will serve as a key platform, bringing together analog and digital audio-video technology from various renowned global brands to merge the advancements of modern innovation with the timeless authenticity of classic sound.
“We want to make JIAVS not just a place to shop for audio-video devices, but also a forum for education and interaction that brings together audiophiles, creators, and industry players from various countries,” said Herman Chandra, Chairman of the JIAVS 2025 Committee, in a press release on Saturday, November 1, 2025, as quoted by antaranews.com.
The exhibition, initiated and organized by the Indonesia High End Audio Club (IHEAC), is themed “What is the Future of Sound, Analog or Digital?” this year. Herman Chandra explained that this theme stems from a developing trend among audio enthusiasts.
On one hand, the digital era offers convenience and flexibility through high-quality streaming and advanced sound processing technology. However, the warmth and natural character of analog sound, from vinyl records to tube amplifiers, maintain a special place in the hearts of audiophiles.
“Precisely in this digital age, many are returning to seek the authenticity of sound from vinyl. There is a sense of nostalgia as well as a search for irreplaceable pure quality. JIAVS wants to accommodate those two worlds in one experience,” Herman added.
The exhibition will span three floors of the Fairmont Hotel Jakarta, featuring 40 exhibitors occupying 55 rooms. Several local brands, including Traumakustik, D'Audio, Aurel Bryan, Anda Audio, Horn Studio, Two Way, SB Acoustics, and Polytron, will showcase Indonesian innovation in quality audio.
Additionally, international brands such as Magico, Goebel High End, Wadax, Riviera Labs, Pilium Audio, CH Precision, Taiko, and Shunyata Research will display the latest technology devices.
Each exhibition room is designed to resemble a living room so that visitors can directly experience listening to music as if they were at a premium concert or cinema.
A variety of supporting activities are also planned, including talk shows and podcasts with audio experts, a portable audio competition, a Sound Quality Car Audio Competition, and interactive games like virtual golf and prize activities.
“We hope that more beginner audio hobbyists can enjoy the extraordinary experience of listening to music in their own homes,” Herman concluded. ***
