KBRN, Jakarta: Google Cloud has officially launched an innovative program called Indonesia BerdAIa. This initiative aims to boost the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) technology in various industrial sectors in Indonesia.

Google Cloud Indonesia Country Director, Fanly Tanto, said that the program is designed to integrate AI utilization across various industries. “For example, what kind of AI for the healthcare industry, for the banking industry, for manufacturing, and many more,” Fanly said at a press conference in Jakarta on Thursday, May 22, 2025, as quoted by antaranews.com.

In this program, Google Cloud collaborates with 15 leading companies from various sectors, such as PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia (InJourney Airports), Bank Central Asia (BCA), Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI), Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI), Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI), and DANA Indonesia.

Fore Coffee, Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, Kalbe Farma, MAXStream, Paragon Technology and Innovation, Sarana AI, PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG), Brawijaya University, and Vidio also participated.

Fanly further explained that the program's main focus includes three crucial aspects. First, the development of generative and agentic AI innovations can significantly benefit various industrial sectors.

Second, prioritizing reliable data source management. Third, competent human resources who are ready to adopt AI technology.

Indonesia BerdAIa will utilize the integrated AI technology stack from Google Cloud, including the latest Gemini 2.5 model and the AI gen media model recently introduced at Google I/O.

The program is also supported by AI experts and ecosystem partners who will help the participants develop their innovations. ***
