Indonesia Finishes Eighth in Asian Games Team Eventing Dressage

RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - Indonesia’s equestrian team finished eighth in the team eventing dressage event at the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Games at Equestrian Park in Tokyo on Tuesday, September 22, 2026.
Indonesia, represented by Marco Alexandro, Muhamad Zaki, Fergi Tri Nur Fajar, and Steeven Menayang, accumulated a total of 114.20 points, placing the team eighth and last in the event.
Japan won the team eventing dressage event with 91.60 points, followed by Thailand in second place with 95.10 points. Hong Kong finished third with 97.00 points.
Marco Alexandro, riding Kodaline 3, was Indonesia’s first representative and scored 35.90 points. Muhamad Zaki, riding Sure Gold VHP Z, followed with 38.60 points.
Fergi Tri Nur Fajar, riding Quincent, was Indonesia’s third representative and scored 44.10 points. Steeven Menayang, riding Diaconthierra, completed Indonesia’s lineup with 39.70 points.
The athletes’ scores also counted toward the individual eventing dressage standings. Among 32 competitors, Alexandro finished 15th, Zaki 25th, Steeven 28th, while Fajar finished 32nd.
China’s Tian Hua topped the individual eventing dressage event with 26.90 points. Thailand’s Korntawat Samran finished second with 29.70 points, while Japan’s Toshiyuki Tanaka took third with 29.90 points.
