RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - Indonesia’s three representatives in the Asian Games 2026 road cycling event finished outside the top 10 at the Shinshiro Cycling Road Course, Aichi, Japan, on Tuesday, September 22.
Dewika Mulya Sova delivered the best result for Indonesia, placing 12th with a time of 2 hours 54 minutes 48 seconds, Antara reported.
She started strongly in 10th after the opening lap, held her position in the second lap, slipped to 14th in the third, and recovered to finish 12th.
Ayustina Delia Priatna crossed the line in 18th place at 2 hours 56 minutes 10 seconds. She climbed from 25th after the first lap to 19th in the second, maintained that spot in the third, and improved slightly to finish 18th.
Andini Putri Anastasya ended in 28th place with a time of 3 hours 2 minutes. Despite climbing to 11th after the second lap, she dropped sharply in the third and held 28th until the finish.
The results mean Indonesia’s riders were unable to break into the top 10 in one of Asia’s biggest multi‑sport events, underscoring the tough competition in road cycling at the Games. ***
