RRI.CO.ID, Guiyang - Indonesia’s sport climbing team won two gold medals at the World Climbing Series Guiyang 2026 in Guiyang, China, on Saturday, September 12, 2026.

The first gold medal was won by Antasyafi Robby Al Hilmi in the Men’s Speed event. Robby finished first to secure the top spot on the podium for Indonesia.

The second gold medal came from Raharjati Nursamsa and Rajiah Sallsabillah in the Speed Mixed Relay. The pair recorded a time of 11.35 seconds to defeat China, which finished second with a time of 14.85 seconds.

In the event, Nursamsa, who competed as the first climber, gave Indonesia an early lead. Rajiah then completed the race to secure the victory for Indonesia.

Rajiah expressed her gratitude for the achievement. The gold medal marked her first of the 2026 season after she previously teamed up with Nursamsa in Krakow, where they did not make it onto the podium.

“I am very happy to stand on the top of the podium. In Krakow, I also competed with Nursamsa, but we did not make it onto the podium. I just tried to make myself better, and now I am standing on the top of the podium,” Rajiah said in a press release issued on Wednesday, September 16, 2026.

Head Coach of the Indonesian National Sport Climbing Team Galar Pandu Asmoro said the results were in line with the target set by the federation. He said the athletes’ success was inseparable from their consistency in following the training program.

“This achievement was the result of the athletes’ consistency in training,” Galar said.
