RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - Indonesia will have two amateur golfers competing on the world stage after Muhammad Bramantyo Andaru joined Alice Lesmana in qualifying for the Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup 2026 Grand Final in Antalya, Turkey, this December.
Bramantyo earned his ticket by posting a net score of 68 at the Bali qualifier held at New Kuta Golf & Ocean View, Pecatu, on Thursday, September 3, 2026.
His victory followed Alice’s earlier success at the Jakarta qualifier at Damai Indah Golf, PIK Course, North Jakarta, in August, ensuring Indonesia will be represented by both male and female golfers in the prestigious corporate amateur tournament.
Turkish Airlines Indonesia General Manager Celal Baykal congratulated Bramantyo. “We wish him the best as he competes in Turkey," he said, as quoted by Antara.
The Bali event also saw Ketut Redina finish second and Ida Bagus Surya Antara third, while Rishi Kumar and Doris Sim won the nearest‑to‑the‑pin awards in the men’s and women’s categories.
The Bali qualifier marked the 62nd of 139 tournaments in this year’s global series, which has grown since its launch in 2013 to involve more than 10,000 participants worldwide. Winners from each local round will converge at Gloria Golf Club in Antalya, with finalists accommodated at the Gloria Serenity Resort. ***
