Indonesia’s Futsal Team Faces Spanish Test in Long-Term World Cup Build-Up

RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta – The Indonesian National Futsal Team will play a friendly match against Spanish club O Parrulo Ferrol in Chantada on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at 01:30 p.m. Jakarta time. This match is part of the Indonesian National Futsal Team's training camp (TC) in Spain.

The training camp is a crucial phase in their long-term preparation for the 2028 Futsal World Cup. Head coach Hector Souto is using this opportunity to enhance the team's quality of play while addressing several areas that still need improvement.

In addition to regular training sessions, the Indonesian National Futsal Team is scheduled to face several Spanish clubs. Gaining match experience against teams with a European playing style is expected to build the players' experience and help them adapt to a different tempo and style of play.
