RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta – Indonesia’s Mario Suryo Aji endured a tough outing at the Moto2 British Grand Prix 2026 in Silverstone Circuit, Northamptonshire, England, on Sunday, August 9, 2026, finishing 22nd and missing out on points in a race dominated by Czech rider Filip Salac.
Starting from 18th on the grid, Mario initially showed promise, climbing to 17th after overtaking Senna Agius and benefiting from incidents ahead, Antara reported.
However, as the race progressed, he struggled to maintain rhythm and pace, gradually slipping down the order. By the final four laps, he was running last among the remaining riders and eventually crossed the line 21.323 seconds behind Salac.
