RRI.CO.ID. Jakarta - Indonesia’s rising inline skaters made their mark at the Saitama Inline Freestyle Asia Cup 2026 in Japan, held from August 2–3, with two junior athletes clinching medals and proudly raising the national flag on the international stage.

Queen Azmi Harthifa captured gold in the Speed Slalom Junior Women U15, while Muhammad Kenzo Gani secured bronze in the Classic Slalom Junior Men U15.

The achievements were celebrated by the Indonesian Roller Sports Federation (PORSEROSI) through its official Instagram account.

“Congratulations to all Indonesian athletes for their efforts at the Saitama Inline Freestyle Asia Cup 2026. Thank you for delivering your best performances and bringing honor to Indonesia,” PORSEROSI stated on Monday, August 3, 2026, as quoted by Antara.

The national team also featured Mercy Evenaar Tirta Monterie, Breeza Everard Tirta Monterie, and Arccianindita Ervinnya Sahasrakirana.

On her personal Instagram, Queen expressed gratitude for closing the championship with a podium finish. “I’m proud to raise the Red‑and‑White flag at an international event. This is a milestone I will always cherish,” she wrote, thanking her club, coaches, federation, school, and supporters.

Queen added that the victory is only the beginning, with more targets set for upcoming competitions. “Bismillah, I hope to keep giving my best,” she said.

The Saitama Inline Freestyle Asia Cup 2026 is one of Asia’s premier roller sports competitions, drawing young talents from across the region to compete in freestyle disciplines such as speed slalom and classic slalom.
