The Tjen/Zhang duo fell to Andreja Klepac /Makoto Ninomiya 4‑6, 7‑5, 7‑10 in a match lasting one hour and 35 minutes.
After dropping the opening set, they rallied to take the second 7‑5, forcing a decisive third set that ultimately went the way of Klepac/Ninomiya, Antara reported.
