Women's featherweight (57kg) boxer Dira Atika defeated South Korea's Yubeen Seo in the quarterfinals at Basket Hall, Senayan, Jakarta, on Thursday, July 9, 2026, to secure a place in the last four.

Her dominance was reflected in the judges' scorecards, with four of the five judges awarding her a 30-27 victory, while the remaining judge scored the contest 29-28 in her favor.

The victory saw Dira join teammate Anggie Antania Chalik, who had already booked a semifinal place after defeating the Philippines' Shairylle Pores in the women's light flyweight (45-48kg) division.

Dira and Anggie also joined Maria Meisita Manguntu and Linda Sari Langi Maililin, who had earlier secured their places in the semifinals. Meanwhile, Fani Afnan Janati was eliminated after losing to Japan's Riko Matsushita in the women's flyweight (51kg) category.
